Bombay vs. Mumbai
Locals say Bombay. All government communications, some Maharashtrians and most foreigners say Mumbai. The airport code is still BOM. The school is still called The American School of Bombay. When I talked about the city to Indian friends, I would say Mumbai, and they would say Bombay. Now I say Bombay.
